It’s really about God, but I’ll tell you a little about me. I live in Blacksburg, Virginia, with my wife, Lisa, and our three teenagers – Ellen, Greg and Jeff. I’ve done a lot of things in my life so far. I started as an electrical engineer, mainly because I love math. I’ve also done a lot with computers, both hardware and software, which I still do now. Lisa and I owned and managed two Christian bookstores for fifteen years. We closed them a few years ago. I’ve taught math and science in a Christian school, and I do that now for home school students, including our own three. Teaching Calculus, Physics, Chemistry and Trigonometry to motivated teens is one of the great joys in my life. I also like reading history – that’s what covers most of my shelves. Before I was married I spent a year in Europe backpacking, mostly so I could see it with my own eyes. It was also because I like traveling, and also because I like having time to think.
I also write books. Of everything I’ve done, this is the hardest. Even these words that I’m writing now come in starts and stops, deleting back and trying again. There’s a lot more to say about writing.
There’s not much more to say about me. Here we all are. Hope you like the books.
